Public Engagement Phases

During the course of developing the Comprehensive Plan, the public engagement process consisted of three rounds.

  • Round 1: Community vision
  • Round 2: Detailed topics/elements
  • Round 3: Plan adoption.

The rounds are described in more detail in the chart to the right.

Steps in the public engagement are further described in the Overview of Public Engagement in the Appendix of the Comprehensive Plan.

Random Sample Surveys

Two random sample, statistically-valid surveys were distributed and completed to help inform the plan development process Their results reports are available below.

Informal Surveys

The Comprehensive Plan Web Site featured a survey for users to fill out during March and early April of 2016.
